Ready to launch your engineering career in one of the most exciting and impactful sectors of the future? A leading organisation in the advanced nuclear and Small Modular Reactor (SMR) sector is looking for an Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineer to join their growing team.


This is a rare opportunity to step into a safety‑critical, highly regulated engineering environment where you’ll learn from industry experts and contribute to a next‑generation UK SMR programme.


🌟 What you’ll be doing

You’ll play a key role in supporting the design and integration of cutting‑edge I&C systems, including:

* Contributing to I&C system requirements and technical documentation
* Assisting with control logic descriptions and interface documentation
* Participating in internal design reviews and engineering discussions
* Supporting vendor technical evaluations and data reviews
* Developing your technical capability under the guidance of senior engineers


🎓 What you’ll bring

* A bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
* Early‑career experience through graduate schemes, placements, or internships
* A genuine interest in regulated, safety‑critical engineering environments
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
