Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Technician to join an excellent client's team based near Horley. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the organisation's IT infrastructure, working closely with the IT Manager. A strong technical background as a Data Centre Technician or equivalent, along with hands-on experience supporting PC clients, is essential to maintain a reliable and efficient desktop environment. You will manage day-to-day IT operations and this will include having responsibility for all hardware and software, and provide 1st to 3rd line support to circa 100 users.
This is an office based role and due to the location of our clients site, the successful candidate must be able to drive. As well as competitive salaries, our client offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Skills required:
* Good understanding of TCP/IP network fundamentals
* Experience with installing and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems and Windows applications
* Knowledge and experience in remote access services such as VPN, RDP and Remote Apps
* Strong knowledge on all hardware including Servers, PCs, Printers
* Practical hands-on skills, including building and repairing computers, fixing network wall sockets and crimping network cables
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to manage several tasks at once
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
