Job Description
The Accounts Payable Supervisor will be responsible for:
3. Managing the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices.
4. Oversee the reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
5. Supervise and support the AP team, including developing and training staff.
6. Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
7. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
8. Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to accounts payable.
9. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Supervisor should have:
11. Strong proven experience within a similar accounts payable role, ideally having managed a team before.
12. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes.
13. Excellent organisational and team management skills.
14. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
15. Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
16. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
