We\'re looking for a Design Structures Approver to join a fast-paced engineering team supporting wing component delivery. This role involves providing high-quality design support to manufacturing operations, ensuring product integrity, and driving continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and approve design solutions for structural modifications and design queries.
* Ensure compliance with design, airworthiness, and safety standards.
* Act as a design approval signatory with recognised industry delegation.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Mentor engineering team members and support skills development.
* Drive process improvements and lessons learned initiatives.
* Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders including Configuration Management, Chief Engineers, and Programme Teams.
What We\'re Looking For:
* Proven experience in structural design engineering.
* Recognised design signatory status (Design Approval Delegation).
* Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities.
* Ability to simplify complex technical issues and communicate effectively.
* Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
Working Arrangements
* Role based in Broughton (preferred) or Filton.
* Hybrid working available with a minimum of 60% onsite presence.
