Ferrovial Construction UK&I is seeking a Graduate Quality Engineer for their 2024 intake in Buckinghamshire. Ferrovial is a leading multinational engineering and construction company with a focus on sustainable and innovative solutions.
The role involves assisting with day-to-day activities on major UK infrastructure projects, working under the supervision of Quality Managers. The graduate development program spans three years, aiming to develop personal, professional, and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
* Contribute to health and safety compliance and uphold quality standards.
* Assist in writing and reviewing quality documentation, including Quality Management Plans and Inspection and Test Plans.
* Support development and communication of quality strategies and ensure understanding across teams.
* Monitor compliance with construction standards and assist in reporting and audits.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and customer focus.
* Adhere to safety and environmental policies.
Skills and Competence:
* Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
* Degree or Masters in any discipline, with technical knowledge in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical engineering preferred.
* Motivated, analytical, and a team player.
* Proactive, resilient, and capable of working under pressure.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
Interpersonal Skills:
* Highly motivated and flexible.
* Logical thinker and results-driven.
* Ability to work independently.
Desirable:
* Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
* Experience in Quality assurance.
* CSCS Card.
Essential:
* Right to work in the UK from September 2024 for the duration of the program.
