We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused individual with strong sales ability and solid practical skills to deliver the full Just Shutters service from enquiry to installation. About the Role As a Franchise Development Representative, you will manage all aspects of the customer journey, including: Sales & Customer Experience (Key Priority) Visiting customers in their homes to present the Just Shutters brand and product range Building rapport, identifying customer needs, and confidently closing sales Preparing quotations and actively following up to convert opportunities Representing the company with professionalism and trustworthiness Technical & Installation Taking accurate window measurements Installing shutters safely and to a high standard (full training provided) Using hand tools confidently and working safely on ladders in customer homes Operations & Administration Entering orders into the company system Managing your appointment schedule and sales pipeline Carrying out light local marketing activity (with central PPC & social media support) Operating a branded Just Shutters van (provided) What We’re Looking For Sales & Customer Skills – Essential Strong experience in customer-facing roles Confident communicator with the ability to influence and close sales Comfortable with follow-up activity and pipeline management Practical Skills Good DIY capability and confidence using hand tools Ability to install products safely (full training given) Comfortable working at height on ladders General Requirements Full UK driving licence Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently Comfortable working in customers’ homes and providing excellent service What We Offer £28,000–£32,000 base salary Commission approx. £5,000, based on % of sales margin Branded Just Shutters van provided Tools and equipment provided Full product and installation training Support from central marketing, including PPC and social media campaigns A Unique Career Path – Transition to Franchise Owner After 12–18 months, successful candidates will have the option to purchase the Thames Valley franchise, with structured pathways such as: Full upfront payment Staged payment plan Commission-supported contribution This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants long-term business ownership but prefers a supported, low-risk entry path.
