Planner required for site‑based works of three Civil Engineering Projects in Derby with a combined value of circa £30m over 2 years. Thereafter the role joins the new growing Midlands region covering civil engineering and groundworks.
The Project (just the first one)
One of the UK's best known and respected Civil Engineering and Groundworks contractors, operating on projects ranging from £2m to £25m, is looking for a planner / planning professional.
Based on a soon‑to‑start major civil engineering and groundworks project in Derby, this role will lead into a regional planning position for the newly forming Midlands region.
The role is on an NEC contract over 2 years and will involve some site work in Derby, some work from home and some travel to head office. The project is one of the UK's new high‑profile defence schemes.
During and following this project, the Midlands region plan (from Derby) is to maintain steady growth and stability in an already mature client base with work available in core civil engineering and groundworks markets.
