Our client, a leading UK steel stockholder based in Stockport, is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company offering a stable, long-term role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manual handling of steel products
* Loading
* Operating an overhead gantry crane
* Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse
* Working efficiently to meet targets and deadlines
Key Requirements:
* Strong background in manual labour or warehouse work
* FLT Counterbalance licence preferred
* Experience operating a gantry crane is an advantage but not essential
* Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
