STOCK ADMINISTRATOR NIGHTS
Responsible To: Nights Manager
Responsible For: Warehouse stock management and customer liaison.
Main Responsibility: Control of stock movement within the warehouse and ensuring customer's needs are met.
Relevant Experience Required.
Experience of warehousing and stock control systems is preferred.
Must be computer literate with Word / Excel / E-Mail and Warehouse stock management systems and must also have experience of dealing with customers and lorry Drivers.
Relevant Personal Requirements.
Good organisational and communication skills. Ability to interact with other departments at all levels. Capable of understanding warehouse workloads and time taken to complete tasks.
Must be able to communicate at all levels internally and externally and possess a keen eye for detail.
Job Specification:
* To operate the WMS to set standards, making sure that all in loads are booked correctly into the WMS and that all out loads are released correctly from the WMS. And that all loads meet the specific customer requirement.
* To liaise with customers, and make sure that all the customers' requirements are achieved to the best of the company's ability. In a timely and cost-effective manner.
* To help build strong, long-term relationships with the company's customer / supplier base.
* To gain a complete knowledge of specific customer requirements and their product base and ensure that these are carried out.
* To liaise between all departments in a clear concise, professional manner.
* To manage customers stocks and ensure that all balance correctly.
* Comply with all Health & Safety requirements of the job and to consider the Health & Safety of others while carrying out their job.
* To comply with the requirements of the company integrated management system procedures and instructions as it affects/influences their work.
* To comply with company rules and policies in relation to Data Protection and Confidentiality as it applies to their job.
* To carry out other duties within reason as required by the company.
Rate of Pay and Hrs:
£12.01 p/hr – moving to £13.10 p/hr after 3 months' probation period if successful.
Monday to Friday 18:00 – 06:00
