Job overview To be part of a flexible team providing project management and change management skills and expertise focused on the delivery of the move of the Trust's O365 to the central NHS England Tenant. As a Project Manager, the post holder will be required to lead the project, engaging with Stakeholders across SCAS to ensure a smooth transition and appropriate communication to all. The responsibilities will include management of the full project lifecycle, including project handover to ‘business-as-usual’, post-project evaluation and sharing lessons learned across the organisation. Advert As a senior manager within South Central Ambulance Service, you will be required to provide leadership to your team to ensure the effective provision of the service they provide and to champion change in the organisation. You will ensure that your staff are motivated and express a positive attitude towards the organisation. You will address any issues and concerns that may inhibit your staff from achieving both of them personal and organisational goals. The post holder will be required to work flexibly, as needed to support the successful delivery of the changes required by SCAS to meet its strategic goals. The work programme will be identified by the Transformation Programme Director either directly or via the Senior Programme and Project Manager(s), with specific duties and responsibilities defined for each work allocation. Detailed job description and main responsibilities To develop, plan, implement, manage, monitor and evaluate specific projects or change initiatives, as part of the wider programme of change for SCAS, working closely with key internal and external stakeholders. Project management Ensure the scope and purpose of the project is clear through the preparation of a Project Proposal/Brief, to be approved by the Executive Lead. This needs to include clarification of the benefits expected as an outcome of the project, as well as the scope, quality standards, targets, budget, timeframe and any other constraints for the changes required. Develop the business case for the project, usually including an options appraisal, using data and information to ensure that proposed changes are compatible with strategic objectives and commissioner requirements, that timescales are realistic and that they are financially robust. Stakeholder engagement and communication To design and deliver engagement and communication plans for internal and external stakeholders, in order to support successful delivery of projects and other change initiatives. Information, data and trend analysis To assess and establish the data and analytical requirements to support change proposals, projects in progress and other change initiatives.
