About the Role As a Nursery / EYFS Assistant, you will: Support the class teacher by delivering a wide range of stimulating and engaging activities. Prepare the classroom for lessons, including setting up and tidying resources each day. Supervise children during break and lunchtime, ensuring safe and happy play. Assist children in learning through play, engaging through observation, interaction, and guided play. Work with individual pupils or small groups to support speaking & listening, reading, writing, and Maths. Promote the physical, intellectual, emotional, and social development of all children. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to planning discussions. Attend relevant training, courses, and CPD opportunities for professional development.
