Vacancy: Branch Manager

Location: Tunbridge Wells
Enthusiastic, sales‑driven Branch Manager required by a large electrical wholesaler with branches across the UK. You must be an experienced sales person from within the electrical wholesale industry with the drive, strategy and vision to develop the branch to its full potential.
Responsibilities
* Maximise branch profitability.
* Lead, motivate, train and coach the branch team to operate as a high‑performing team, deliver the highest levels of customer service, grow sales and develop the customer account base.
* Develop a sound and profitable customer base via regular visits and by analysing trends and opportunities in the marketplace, monitoring competitors’ activities and taking appropriate action.
* Build relationships with key local suppliers to maximise deals.
* Maximise branch sales and profit targets.
* Ensure stock levels are maintained within company targets while maintaining adequate credit stock.
* Oversee and manage day‑to‑day financial aspects of the branch within agreed budgets and targets, including stock control, debtors and all branch operational costs including employment.
* Complete all required administration.
* Ensure branch premises are in good order, clean and safe.
Requirements
* Essential experience in the electrical wholesale industry.
Salary & Benefits
Salary up to circa £60k, negotiable depending on experience, plus car, bonus and benefits.
