Salary Range: £13 – £17 per hour (Depending on Experience)

GSL Education are seeking a reliable and nurturing Lunchtime Supervisor to join a friendly school in Middlesbrough. Your presence will help ensure pupils enjoy a safe, happy, and structured lunchtime experience every day.
Key Responsibilities of a Lunchtime Supervisor:
* Supervise pupils during the lunch break, both indoors and outdoors.
* Encourage positive behaviour, cooperation, and social interaction.
* Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils throughout the lunchtime period.
* Support pupils in the dining hall, including assisting younger children with meals when needed.
* Manage playground activities and help resolve minor conflicts calmly and effectively.
* Report concerns or incidents to senior staff as required.
Job Requirements for Lunchtime Supervisor:
* Experience working with children or young people (school or community settings preferred).
* A calm, friendly, and proactive approach to pupil supervision and behaviour management.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Reliability, patience, and the ability to remain vigilant and attentive.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil safety.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
