Join to apply for the Tesco Shift Leader - Days - Ealing Northfields Express role at Tesco. Our Shift Leader rate of pay starts from £14.76 an hour; this increases to £15.97 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It’s our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you’d like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you.
Availability
The table shows the periods of time in the week we’d like you to be available to work - the availability windows. We will schedule your contracted hours within these times, and you’ll have 3 weeks’ notice of exactly when your shifts will be. We are happy to support flexibility for our colleagues, therefore if the times you are available to work match closely but not exactly to the times we are advertising, we’d still love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
* Lead duty shifts and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations
* Assist customers on the shop floor and ensure they leave the store with what they came for
* Coach colleagues and give feedback to the team to improve service
* Guide and support colleagues in-store, ensuring a safe place to work and shop
* Understand store performance and assist managers in actions to improve running of the store
* Lead from the front and set a positive example
