Job Summary
East Dunbartonshire Council’s Development & Investment Service has two vacancies for the post of Building Surveyor – Asset Management.
The Development & Investment Service is comprised of four teams responsible for major capital projects across Housing and Corporate Asset portfolios, including building surveying, decarbonisation, and affordable housing development.
We seek to appoint two qualified Building Surveyors to report to the Team Leader – Asset Management. The role involves managing capital investment projects, contributing to stock condition and property performance data, and supporting building decarbonisation strategies.
The successful candidates will have experience in similar roles, excellent communication and project management skills, and a solid understanding of building surveying principles.
The position offers a hybrid working model, with time split between home, the office at Broomhill Depot, Kirkintilloch, and on-site visits.

The cost will be deducted from the first salary, with possible installment options. If employment ends before full deduction, the remaining amount will be deducted from the final salary.
