We have a new vacancy for a Service Engineer in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Become part of our SWARCO team as Service Engineer Aberdeen.
Responsibilities
* Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and support to customers, including EV charging station operators, maintenance personnel, and end-users, to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth operation of EV charging infrastructure.
* Service/Contract Tasks: Support the Service & Contracts teams with tasks required to ensure maximum efficiency across the wider business.
* Remote Assistance: Offer remote technical support via phone, email, or remote desktop tools, guiding customers through troubleshooting steps and providing instructions for resolution.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues, and resolutions in the ticketing system, and contribute to the knowledge base for future reference.
Profile / What we are looking for
* At least 2 years’ experience in technical support or field service roles. Experience welcomed from any industry (not restricted to) automotive, clean energy, or EV charging.
* Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues effectively.
* Ability to support Local (Scotland) and National teams with installation, maintenance and bespoke client solutions, working as part of a larger SWARCO team.
* Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term relationships with customers.
* Flexibility to travel occasionally for on-site support and willingness to work outside regular business hours as needed to support customer needs.
