We are looking for a compassionate and energetic individual to join our team and provide personal care and support in a family home for a visually impaired young adult who uses a wheelchair and has complex health needs, including severe neuro-disability, hydrocephalus, cerebral palsy, and spastic quadriplegia. This is a rewarding role that will see you assisting with a range of tasks, from personal care and repositioning to operating respiratory equipment and ensuring the safety and well-being of the client. You will work closely with the client and their family, providing both physical and emotional support in a home environment. Complex care experience is desirable however full training will be provided, including manual handling and hoist transfers. A car driver is strongly preferred due to the location of the role, and above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate, reliable, and ready to make a real difference in the life of a young person and their family. As well as being a naturally caring and compassionate person, we’re seeking Care / Support workers with: Previous complex care experience Previous experience with respiratory equipment and observations is desirable, but not essential.
