The RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Environmental Health Officer to join their Environmental Health team, working within the Environmental Protection function. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real impact on public health and environmental quality.
Key responsibilities include:
* Investigating complaints relating to noise, odour, smoke, light, and other statutory nuisances.
* Contributing to environmental health policies and procedures.
* Assessing planning applications and providing technical advice on environmental impacts.
* Supporting wider environmental health functions where required.
About You
* Degree in Environmental Health.
* Experience applying environmental health legislation, particularly in nuisance and pollution.
* Ability to provide sound technical advice on planning and environmental matters.
* Strong communication skills with a proactive and flexible approach.
