Quality Team Leader (Permanent)
Salary: Highly Competitive with a 12.5% Bonus.
Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am – 4:30pm; Friday, 8:00am – 3:30pm.
Job Description
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and apprentices, promoting a culture of quality excellence.
* Ensure compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards (AS9100, AS13100, Part 21).
* Support and manage internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and timely resolution of findings.
* Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using tools such as 8D, A3, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
* Champion continuous improvement activities, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Zero Defects initiatives.
* Monitor and report on key quality performance metrics to drive improvement and ensure compliance.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
* Experience in a manufacturing environment; Aerospace is preferred.
* Proven experience leading or mentoring teams within a quality function.
* Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS13100, and regulatory frameworks such as Part 21.
