As a Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing within a safe and stimulating early years environment.
You will:
* Support children's learning through play in line with the EYFS
* Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment
* Promote children's emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
* Support daily routines, including meals, toileting, and rest times
* Observe, support, and contribute to children's development records
* Work effectively as part of a team to meet staff ratios and nursery policies
* Follow all safeguarding, child protection, health & safety, and welfare procedures
For Qualified Nursery Practitioners
* Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
* Knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework
* Understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
* Ability to work within EYFS staff ratio requirements
For Nursery Assistants / Unqualified Staff
* Willingness to work towards a Level 2 Early Years qualification
* Genuine interest in working with young children
* Ability to follow safeguarding and welfare procedures
* Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team
For All Applicants
* Enhanced DBS check (including barred list) – required before employment
* Right to work in the UK
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
* Willingness to complete Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training
