Are you a Lead Maintenance Engineer or a Senior Maintenance Engineer looking to join a Food Manufacturing company based in Manchester? My client are looking for x3 Lead Engineers to join their team, working 4 on 4 off (2D,2N 4 off) offering a salary of £59K As a Lead Maintenance Engineer you will be apprentice trained and have experience of working within the food industry. This food manufacturing business has invested millions of pounds on new cutting edge machinery.If you are interested in this role, please APPLY NOW via the job boardThe Role:Lead, mentor and develop a team of 2 EngineersAllocate workload and ensure efficient use of site resourceSupervise and participate in planned maintenance and repair on food manufacturing equipmentEnsure all Maintenance activities are logged and documented accuratelyCheck completed works and verify that the repaired equipment is in a sound and safe operational conditionIdentify and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliabilityEnsure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulationsPrepare and present reports on engineering activities and performance metricsProvide the Engineering Manager and planner with required records and paperwork of all completed jobsManage contractor works in line with agreed engineering proceduresSuitable Candidate:Apprentice trained Maintenance EngineerMulti Skilled - either biasExperience of working within a food manufacturing facility previouslyExperience of maintaining food manufacturing equipmentStrong communication skillsAbility to drive the team forwardThis is an exciting opportunity to join a leading food manufacturing business who has recently been through some exciting changes and made a huge difference within their maintenance team.
