Internal Vacancy: Process Lead
hours per week, permanent contract
We have a unique internal opportunity available for aProcess Leadto join our production team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for ensuring that spirit is processed for bottling, once disgorged. Leading and developing the process technician team, maintaining the key bottling and filtration assets and ensuring work instruction and risk assessments are in place for all process technicians tasks.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
1. A time served apprenticeship in a relevant mechanical/electrical discipline, and ideally educated to degree level. IBD Diploma or Certificate in Packaging would also be beneficial.
2. IOSH certificate, or similar.
3. Extensive experience with manufacturing process systems, in particular bottling lines and tank farm operations.
4. Previous experience of SCADA or HMI technology.
5. Excellent people management skills.
6. Exceptional attention to detail coupled with robust problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent IT skills.
8. Effective organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload, planning effectively and working consistently to tight deadlines.
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively (both verbal and written skills) across multiple levels internally.
10. A sound and thorough knowledge of the whisky and spirits industry.
This is a permanent contract, working hours per week.
