Required for 1 September 2025 (or July for the right candidate), the Trustees are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Sixth Form Pastoral Manager to support the learning of students in Years 12-13 at BCGS, facilitate the transition of Year 11 students into the Sixth Form or other post-16 destinations, and provide administrative support to the Head of Sixth Form and Sixth Form Heads of Year.
The successful candidate should demonstrate initiative and support teaching and learning for both students and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to work with colleagues to enhance the Sixth Form experience at BCGS.
Essential qualities include the ability to support Year 12-13 students and pastoral staff in Sixth Form, along with an understanding of education in Key Stage 5. Experience working with young people is desirable.
We are open to part-time candidates down to 0.6 FTE; however, full-time employment is preferred.
