Commercial Accountant

We are recruiting a Commercial Accountant to join the Finance team of a growing social care company in the North West.
This person will play a key role in shaping strategic and operational decision-making across the company with their FP&A experieince.
This is a high-impact FP&A role where you will develop financial models, deliver scenario analysis, and provide commercial insight that drives performance in areas such as occupancy, fee rates, staffing, capital investment, and acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain robust financial models covering revenue, cost, EBITDA, cash flow and balance sheet impacts
* Deliver scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decisions
* Partner with operational teams on cost of care strategies and pricing analysis
* Support acquisition activity including valuation, due diligence and performance tracking
* Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
* Produce high-quality financial insight and reporting for senior leadership
* Improve data quality, governance and financial processes across the function
About You
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience)
* Strong experience in FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
* Confident working with complex data and translating it into clear insight
* Strong communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience in care, healthcare or regulated environments, and exposure to acquisitions or investment appraisal, is highly desirable.
