The role
The Manufacturing Support Operator is responsible for carrying out a range of manual and bespoke tasks that support the smooth operation of the production process. This includes handling, packaging, stock control, and other specialised tasks that fall outside of main production. The role requires a strong attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and effective stock management to ensure the efficient flow of materials and products within the facility.
What you'll do
* Carry out product re-gasketing to meet quality standards
* Use a circular saw to cut customer products accurately and to specification (training provided)
* Package customer products in line with internal and external requirements
* Maintain accurate stock control using SAP
* Operate FLT and Cube safely
* Follow health, safety, and quality procedures
* Work closely with production and warehouse teams
* Keep the workspace clean and organised
What you'll need
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
* Experience using a circular saw or willingness to be trained.
* Good manual dexterity and ability to handle repetitive tasks accurately.
* Experience in stock control and SAP (or similar ERP system) is desirable.
* Ability to operate FLT/Cube machinery (training provided if necessary).
* Good understanding of health and safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
* Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and take on varied tasks as required.
