Just Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, family-run business in the search for an experienced Depot Manager.This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for ensuring the depot operates safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will lead, motivate, and develop a team of approximately 35 staff, including Managers and Supervisors, while driving a culture of continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day depot operations to maximise productivity, reporting directly to the Operations/Commercial Director Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and health & safety standards Lead and support key functions, including the MRF Supervisor, EQHS Manager, and Transport Manager Collaborate closely with Sales and Administration teams to ensure smooth business operations Manage budgets, control costs, and maintain an excellent safety record Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, customers, and regulatory bodiesThe Ideal Candidate: Proven experience in a senior management role Strong leadership, organisational, and decision-making skills NEBOSH and COTC Level 4 (WAMITAB) qualifications desirable, or willingness to achieve within 6 months IT literate with excellent communication skills
