Position Details
* Location: Hunt Valley, MD
* Type: Full-Time/Regular
* Salary Range: $50.00 to $75.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview
Responsible for delivering complex multidisciplinary engineering projects, utilizing knowledge of engineering, architecture, and construction principles. Ensure project performance exceeds client expectations while managing financial and contractual aspects.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage project resources, including internal teams, government agencies, and clients, to deliver scope on time and within budget.
2. Serve as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and design/construction teams.
3. Build and maintain client relationships, seeking opportunities for repeat business and new projects.
4. Coordinate with team members to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met.
5. Manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to protocols and practices.
6. Provide guidance to design team members and oversee project execution in accordance with design, budget, and schedule.
7. Handle administrative tasks such as contract reviews, bidding, scheduling, and reporting.
8. Represent the organization at community and business meetings.
9. Resolve technical conflicts and mitigate risks within projects.
10. Develop project proposals, budgets, work breakdown structures, and schedules.
11. Review progress reports and invoicing.
12. Offer expertise in project management and process improvements.
Required Skills and Experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software (Project or P6)
* Bachelor's degree in engineering or architecture from an accredited program
* Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (AIA)
* 8-10+ years of experience in design and construction project management
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
Working Conditions
Work primarily in an office environment with occasional field work in various weather conditions. Regional travel may be required within the Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware areas.
