What Are We Looking For?
Health & Safety Manager for the Asset Operations and Maintenance Team, based at Muir of Ord, permanent; requires travel across Scotland.
Responsibilities include ensuring all RSE company activities comply with Health and Safety legislation and internal management systems. Specific duties:
* Ensure compliance with RSE’s Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental management systems.
* Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, assist project teams in compiling Construction Phase Plans.
* Provide assistance on QHSE matters to departments and individuals within the Ross‑shire engineering group.
* Carry out QHSE inspections and audits at RSE premises and construction sites.
* Complete QHSE inspection/audit reports and issue to Project Engineer, Project Manager, Site Manager, QHSE Managers, and Company Directors.
* Assist and advise engineers/site managers with health and safety risk assessments and safe working compliance.
* Produce COSHH assessments as required.
* Communicate and liaise fully with all departments within the business.
What Do You Need?
* NEBOSH general (Level 3) essential (or working towards).
* Practical understanding and approach to managing QHSE, building relationships with delivery teams.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
* Experience applying Health & Safety practices in manufacturing and construction sites; utilities experience a plus.
* Full UK driving licence.
