Overview
This role requires diligence, a good eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to accurate order fulfilment, product handling, quality control, and inventory management. Update and maintain specialised software for inventory and keep the warehouse in order.
Duties
- Pull and pack orders accurately
- Unload and carry boxes up to ~15kg
- Maintain an organised stock area, ensuring that all materials are stored correctly.
- Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock movements.
- Conducting regular stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
- Regular cleaning of warehouse floors and surfaces
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
* Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physically demanding tasks.
* Ability and inclination for to sorting and ordering items.
* Strong attention to detail for accuracy.
* Able to use a computer.
* Preference to work alone.
Working Times:
The preferred working times are as follows, but there may be room to be flexible.
Monday: 10:00-14:00
Tuesday: 09:30-17:30
Thursday: 11:30-19:30
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From £12.44 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
