The role The Payroll Professional works under the direction of the Manager – Payroll to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of payroll services for the school. Some key responsibilities of the role include: Preparing and administering the end-to-end function of payroll Providing accurate and timely advice and assistance to school employees on a range of payroll-related issues. Assisting with payroll-related projects and the constant development and improvement of payroll services provided to employees. Day to day administration requirements of the payroll function. About You You will be an experienced payroll professional who enjoys processing a complex and dynamic payroll in a small team environment. You will bring: Demonstrated experience in similar payroll position with responsibility for end to end process for medium to large payrun. Have excellent customer service skills and be happy to assist with payroll queries in a timely manner. Thrive on ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and by the deadline. Have an excellent working knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements of payroll and be able to quickly become knowledgeable on the Enterprise Agreements relevant to the school. Be experienced using Access Micropay and ConnX or willing to quickly learn these systems.
