Job Description:
Our excellent client in Cheltenham is looking for a Client Payment Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. You will be working for a well-established and reputable local Cheltenham business that values and encourages its employees.
Previous office experience is NOT required, making this role suitable for someone early in their career. It is essential that you are confident and comfortable communicating with both internal and external individuals.
This business is known for delivering professional service to its clients, and you'll be part of a fun, friendly team. The company is experiencing rapid growth, with low staff turnover, active internal development, and competitive benefits including 28 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities:
* Help record and process payments received from clients.
* Assist with making payments to clients and updating internal records.
* Check that financial documents and statements are accurate and match internal systems.
* Gently remind clients about overdue payments professionally, offering payment delays and plans if needed.
* Keep clear notes of all client conversations and payment updates.
* Help prepare monthly financial summaries and client letters.
* Work closely with the team to update on payment progress.
* Support with general finance tasks as needed.
* Perform any other ad-hoc duties required.
Candidate Attributes:
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm
Salary: £25,000 per annum + benefits including:
* 36 days holiday per year (including bank holidays)
