Role – Qualified primary teacher
About the role
A welcoming and forward‑thinking primary school in Rugby is seeking a dedicated Qualified Teacher to work across KS1 and KS2. The school is looking for someone who can bring creativity, structure and enthusiasm to the classroom, while maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour.
You will play a key role in delivering engaging lessons, supporting pupils of mixed abilities and contributing to a positive, inclusive school environment. This role is ideal for a teacher who is confident working flexibly across year groups and who has a strong understanding of how to support pupils with additional needs.
Requirements
* QTS is essential
* Strong classroom teaching experience in KS1 and/or KS2
* SEND experience or strong SEND awareness is required
* Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
* Confident managing behaviour using positive, consistent strategies
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
Day‑to‑day duties
* Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons across KS1 and KS2
* Creating a positive, structured and inclusive classroom environment
* Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND
* Using assessment to track progress and inform future planning
* Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
* Supporting pupils’ emotional development and promoting positive behaviour
* Communicating effectively with parents and carers
* Contributing to school life through meetings, planning and wider activities
