Job Description
3. Actively price and execute FX products, including spot, forwards and swaps.
4. Manage intraday and short‑dated FX risk within limits.
5. Support liquidity provision to institutional clients, brokers and counterparties.
6. Monitor market conditions, flows and positioning, adapting pricing and execution strategies accordingly.
7. Work closely with senior traders to optimise execution quality and risk outcomes.
8. Contribute to daily P&L, risk reports and post‑trade analysis.
9. Maintain a strong understanding of market microstructure, liquidity dynamics and volatility.
10. Liaise with sales, operations and risk teams.
11. Adhere to all regulatory, compliance and risk management requirements.
The Successful Applicant
A successful FX Trader should have:
12. Minimum of 2 years experience in FX trading, execution or market‑facing FX roles.
13. Strong understanding of G10 FX markets, with exposure to EM currencies an advantage.
14. Solid knowledge of FX instruments including spot, forwards and swaps.
15. Experience working in a high‑pressure, real‑time trading environment.
16. Good grasp of FX risk management, including position monitoring and limit frameworks.
