Our client, a well-established and successful business near Pwllheli, is on the lookout for an organised and enthusiastic Administration & Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Handling incoming calls and emails, directing enquiries or responding professionally
2. Entering supplier invoices into Sage Accounts and checking delivery costings
3. Processing customer orders and raising purchase orders
4. Generating delivery paperwork and booking outgoing transport using web systems
5. Producing pro forma invoices and taking card payments via online portals
6. Assisting with invoice generation, including calculating transport costs and using web platforms to submit invoices
7. Keeping office systems and traceability records neat, tidy, and up to date
8. Supporting the team with general admin duties and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of the office
9. Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
We are keen to see your CV if you have the following:
10. Previous, demonstrable experience in a similar Administration and Accounts based role
11. Good numeracy, literacy and communication skills
12. IT proficient including MS Office, experience using Sage 50 Accounts would be an advantage
13. A friendly, professional approach and strong attention to detail
14. Able to follow procedures, work to deadlines, and contribute to a team environment
15. Organised, flexible and ready to pitch in wherever needed
16. A proactive self-starter who’s keen to grow with the role
17. Ability to understand / speak in Welsh is desirable but not essential
This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday, in exchange you will receive a competitive salary between £25,000 – £27,000 per annum depending on skills and experience and the opportunity to develop your skills and career.
