Job Description
We are recruiting Cooking Operatives to join the Grimsby Recipe Dish site, the sole supplier of fresh and chilled ‘best in class’ soups predominantly for M&S. This purpose‑built site employs around 200 people and turns over £30 million. It is a fast‑paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same, making it an exciting place to work.
Main Responsibilities
* Load the cooking vessel with raw materials at the relevant stages throughout the cook.
* Ensure CCP cook procedures are met and conduct end‑of‑cook quality tests, reporting any out‑of‑specifications to the Area Leader and Quality team.
Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience in food production or a similar environment is preferred.
* Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to use own initiative.
* Basic English and Maths skills.
* Computer knowledge would be an advantage.
* Shift pattern: two days (06:00‑18:00), two nights (18:00‑06:00) with four days off.

* Overtime at 1.33% after completion of rostered hours for the week.
