We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic, and a dedicated Life Practitioner to join our team. As a Night Life Practitioner, you will provide essential support to individuals with severe learning disabilities and complex needs. You will play a key role in helping them live fulfilling, independent lives by assisting them in daily activities and accompanying them on trips into the community.
Responsibilities
* Working with the staff team across all levels to safeguard our young adults at all times.
* Participating in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
* Assisting with practical tasks relating to care such as cooking and cleaning.
* Creating positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
* Meeting the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
* Continuously maintaining accurate and clear record keeping.
* Ensuring that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly reviewing and recording any changes to their needs.
Qualifications
* Actively contributing to the development of the team.
* A genuine passion for care and a motivation to contribute to the progression of others.
* A strong team player.
* Resilience and confidence to ask for support as needed.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Computer literacy.

To drive the company vehicle you must have held a full UK driver’s licence or have been driving in the UK for 2 years or more. Starting rates for those without experience are £12.56 and for those with experience it's £13.85. New Entry – £12.56, Level 1 – £12.85, Level 2 – £13.35, Level 3 – £13.85.
