Key Purpose Of The Job
The core focus of this role is to carry out the maintenance, reactive calls, and the installation of fire extinguishers in accordance with British Standard 5306 Part 3 2017. You will be working with a team of 7 extinguisher technicians nationally. Full training will be provided so that you will become a fully competent Fire Extinguisher Engineer.
Pay
£27,000.00 per year
Key Job Responsibilities
* Installing, servicing, and maintaining portable fire extinguishers for National, Key and Local accounts.
* Working in line with current standards and customer requirements.
* Planning and completing call visits within the nominated area, ensuring maximum efficiency and best use of resources.
* Building professional and effective relationships with a wide client base.
* Accountable for ensuring effective area planning to maximise travel time and time on customer premises to achieve KPIs.
* Communicating effectively with customers to ensure a good understanding of system/equipment status.
* Providing excellent levels of customer service at all times.
* Responsible for the management & security of vehicle stock, tools & equipment.
* Completing site surveys for new and additional equipment.
* Working safely at all times, in line with EFire and customer health and safety procedures.
* Handling any other reasonable requests from management.
* Ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of themselves and their team in accordance with the Kings policy.
Essential Requirements For The Job
* Experience of front-line customer service.
* Full driving licence.
* Flexibility to travel for work and training when required.
* Self‑motivated.
