Responsibilities
* Use retail experience to drive business, push sales and achieve targets.
* Lead a team to deliver great customer service to donors and customers.
* Work with local community to generate sufficient donated stock.
* Recruit, train and retain a volunteer team, guiding them and the shop manager.
* Set high standards of merchandising and housekeeping, ensuring health and safety.
* Manage stock processes to keep shop well merchandised with fresh seasonal stock.
* Act as brand ambassador for Sue Ryder, supporting in‑store campaigns and national fundraising initiatives.
* Manage effective stock process through the Epos operation.
* Help maintain a positive can‑do attitude, good judgment, and understanding of financial and IT administration.
Qualifications
* Customer Service Experience
* Previous supervisory experience
* Cash handling / till work
* Basic IT skills (emails, instant messaging, video calls)
* Organisational skills
* Lone working experience
