A top-tier UK law firm is looking to recruit an experienced Projects Lawyer to join its award-winning Commercial Projects team. This opportunity is ideal for a senior associate or commercial solicitor with expertise in PFI / PPP projects, particularly within sectors such as education, transport and infrastructure.

The Role
You'll take a leading role in delivering and managing a variety of complex commercial and infrastructure projects, including:
1. Advising on operational PFI and PPP contracts - including contract management, interpretation, and variation
2. Supporting public and private sector clients through PFI/PPP expiry and handback transitions
3. Leading on commercial transactions including outsourcing, joint ventures, shared services, and partnership agreements
4. Collaborating across departments (finance, disputes, property, employment, pensions, IT/IP) to deliver full-service legal solutions
5. Contributing to business development and mentoring junior lawyers
Who would this role suit?
6. UK-qualified Solicitor or Associate with 5+ years' PQE
7. Strong experience in PFI/PPP contracts, project delivery, or major commercial infrastructure matters
8. Previous work with public sector bodies or sponsors on complex infrastructure projects
9. Exposure to expiry planning and future service delivery for PFI/PPP contracts is highly desirable
