We’re bringing 3 new Apprentices into our Equipment Engineering team — and you could be one of them!
You’ll be working towards your Level 3 or higher Apprenticeship, gaining real experience on the shop floor while getting paid and studying one day a week. If you’re curious, practical, and love understanding how things work — this is your chance.
What You Will Do
1. Learn new skills through structured on‑the‑job training with support from an experienced internal mentor
2. Complete rotations across different manufacturing areas to develop a broad technical skillset
3. Maintain accurate logbooks and training notes throughout your apprenticeship
4. By following all safety requirements and procedures you will learn how to work in a safe environment
5. Collaborate effectively within a team as well as work independently with support from our engineering mentors
6. Learn to follow engineering procedures and specifications
7. Attend college, study, and successfully pass all required modules
8. Complete relevant NVQs with support from our on‑site training provider
What You Will Need
9. A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades A–C / 4–9) including Maths, English and a Science
10. Further education in a science or engineering subject (A Level, BTEC, NVQ) is an advantage but not essential
11. Applicants must be 18 years old by September 2026
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
13. Self‑motivation and a logical approach to problem‑solving
14. Willingness to be flexible with working hours
Working Hours
This role begins as a 39‑hour week while training (4 days on site and 1 day in college). As your experience grows, you will also gain exposure to working on one of our shift patterns that support our 24/7 operation.
