Radiology Department Assistant MRI at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust
Job Summary
We are inviting applications from an enthusiastic individual to work within all imaging modalities in the Radiology department, assisting Radiographers, Nurses and Radiologists in the care of patients undergoing radiological procedures and providing support to all health care professionals within the multi-disciplinary team.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team. This post will include shifts between the hours of 8am – 8pm over 7 days a week, including weekends and bank holidays.

Main Duties
* Assist in the care of patients undergoing radiological procedures across multiple modalities.
* Undertake clinical procedures under supervision; contribute to patient care and safety whilst in the department.
* Provide administrative assistance to ensure effective workflow within the service.
* Work collaboratively with other clinical colleagues in all areas of Radiology to support inter‑department staffing demand.

Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level with A‑C grades in English or Maths or equivalent
Desirable
* Has gained or is willing to work towards NVQ 2 Care Certificate
* Any previous experience in acute healthcare setup

* Basic IT skills
