Technical Manager / CVE – Aerolux (Exclusive via RPS Recruitment)
Aerolux, a world-class manufacturer of aircraft galley and cabin systems, is embarking on a major expansion journey following its acquisition by a multi-billion dollar engineering business. With plans to triple in size within the next three years, Aerolux is offering an extraordinary opportunity for an ambitious CVE to shape the company’s certification and compliance framework during this exciting growth phase.
RPS Recruitment is exclusively representing Aerolux to appoint a highly capable CVE to lead verification and compliance activities across new and existing product lines. Working alongside a growing team, you’ll ensure all designs, tests, and documentation meet EASA Part 21 Subpart J and TSO/ETSO requirements. This is a career-defining opportunity to become the technical authority for airworthiness and design assurance in a business that partners with major global OEMs. In addition to 1-1 mentorship from the current technical manager, preparing you to lead the division in the next 12 months.
As a CVE, you’ll work across multiple disciplines – mechanical, electrical, and systems – to validate high-integrity products used by the world’s leading aircraft manufacturers. You’ll oversee qualification testing, manage conformity documentation, and play a pivotal role in driving certification excellence. With Aerolux’s rapid expansion, this position provides a direct route to senior technical management, making it ideal for a motivated CVE ready to progress.
Key Responsibilities
• Verify compliance to EASA Part 21 Subpart J and TSO/ETSO standards
• Develop, review, and approve qualification test plans and procedures (RTCA DO-160 / MIL-STD-810)
• Manage outsourced qualification testing and supplier compliance
• Oversee configuration control, conformity documentation, and change management
• Review verification reports, FRACAS findings, and design validation outputs
• Provide technical guidance to ensure regulatory integrity and airworthiness compliance
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience as a CVE or equivalent aerospace compliance role
• Broad technical understanding across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering
• Familiarity with environmental qualification testing (DO-160 or MIL-STD-810)
• In-depth knowledge of EASA Part 21 and certification documentation standards
• Excellent communication, documentation, and leadership ability
• Aerospace background essential, ideally at equipment or system level
