Are you a brilliant electrician looking to further your career with a purpose-led organisation that truly cares about its people?
You'll bring your proven track record of carrying out electrical installations in domestic dwellings to support the Dorset electrical team. Your work will be scheduled for you, and jobs will be shared via an electronic handheld device (your PDA), so comfort with technology and IT systems is essential.
You will primarily work alone, so confidence in working on your own initiative is important. However, you'll receive plenty of support from our regional supervisors. The team meets regularly for meetings and toolbox talks for training and updates.
A company vehicle will be provided for community visits, so a full UK driving licence is required. You may work in various locations in one day, offering opportunities to explore and get to know the wider Dorset region.
If this sounds like the opportunity you've been looking for, we'd love to hear from you! To apply, please use the information in the advert and role profile to tell us why you're suitable for the job. Please submit your CV along with a supporting statement. Interviews will be held throughout the advertising period.
If successful, you'll be asked to complete a practical exercise and undertake a basic DBS check. Please note, Aster is not a sponsorship organisation; all candidates must verify their right to work in the UK prior to employment.
