About The Role We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanical Fire Protection Service Engineer to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of mechanical fire protection systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites. This is a nationwide role and as such this Engineer can be based anywhere across Great Britain.
SALARY: £36,493.87
* 23 days leave plus 8 bank holidays

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct routine servicing, testing, and maintenance of mechanical fire protection systems (e.g., sprinklers, hydrants, pumps, mist systems).
* Diagnose faults and carry out repairs to ensure systems remain compliant and fully operational.
* Complete detailed service reports and communicate findings clearly to clients and internal teams.
* Ensure all work meets relevant standards and regulations (BS, LPC, NFPA, etc.).
* Participate in on‑call rota for emergency callouts.
* Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with mechanical fire protection systems
* Strong understanding of industry standards and compliance requirements.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Good communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
