As a Primary Care Pharmacy Technician, you will play a key role in supporting safe, effective pharmaceutical care, ensuring patients get the best possible outcome from their medicines.
You will join a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacy support workers delivering a much‑appreciated and well‑respected Pharmacotherapy Service.
You will have effective interpersonal, communication and influencing skills with the ability to work in collaboration with the wider multidisciplinary team in hospital, community pharmacy and care homes settings ensuring seamless pharmaceutical care.
You must be a registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council before you can apply for this post.
Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
The duties of this post require the successful candidate to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme. More information on this scheme can be found at www.disclosurescotland.co.uk.
As from 1/4/26, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
