An exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Estimator to join a growing, well-established main contractor working on high-value industrial and office refurbishment projects across the UK. This is a newly created role that offers clear progression opportunities and the chance to play a key role in the company's long-term growth.

This company are a respected and expanding construction company with over 15 years of industry success. They work on refurbishment and fit-out projects across industrial sheds and commercial office spaces, delivering schemes up to £5 million in value.
With a national presence and plans to increase turnover from £60M to £100M, they have an impressive order book alongside a fantastic reputation which has allows them to triple turnover across the last few year. To aid with their grow plans they are now looking to bring an experienced Estimator into the office and streamline their processes.
This role is office based in Staffordshire, with occasional travel to sites across the UK. As the lead Estimator, you will take full ownership of the pre-construction estimating function. Your responsibilities will include producing accurate cost estimates, conducting site measurements, and liaising directly with clients to fully understand their project requirements. Once a project is secured, you will oversee a smooth handover to the Contracts Managers for delivery and execution.
The ideal candidate will be an Estimator with Industrial shed experience who is looking for a varied long term role within a growing company.

The role:
1. Manage incoming enquiries, prepare accurate cost estimates, and conduct site measurements
2. Send tender packages to subcontractors, collate quotations, and liaise with Contracts Managers to finalise bids
3. Submit tenders, handle amendments, and support seamless handovers to site teams
4. Build strong relationships with Clients and subcontractors to ensure repeat business and best rates
The person
5. Proven experience as an Estimator in industrial or commercial projects, with an understanding of office/industrial fit-outs
6. Self-motivated, proactive, and career-driven, with a collaborative and "go-getter" mindset
7. Good Systems knowledge, COINS software experience desirable but can be trained on
8. Willing to commute daily to Staffordshire with occasional site travel nationwide
