Salary up to £55k 37.5 hour working week, 9am–5.30pm Monday to Friday Friday working from home Statutory pension Private healthcare after 6 months Free car parking Duties and responsibilities: Managing a diverse client portfolio and acting as the main point of contact Leading monthly client review meetings, presenting financial insights and agreeing actions Preparing and reviewing bookkeeping, ledgers, reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments Producing monthly and quarterly management accounts with commentary Preparing year‑end accounts under UK GAAP and FRS standards and handling related queries Preparing and submitting Self‑Assessment tax returns, corporation tax computations and CT600s Preparing and submitting VAT returns, including complex schemes, and providing MTD and VAT advice Required skills and experience: ACA or ACCA qualified with strong accountancy practice experience Proven ability to manage a client portfolio and deliver end‑to‑end accounting services Confidence leading client meetings and explaining financial information clearly Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines Experience using cloud accounting systems and Excel, with Mac experience desirable A client‑focused, commercially aware approach with excellent attention to detail
