We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teacher of Science to supplement and enhance a strong, established and supportive Science department.
Due to increasing PAN and student numbers, we are excited to offer the opportunity to join our academy as the staff body grows to support larger year groups of 220 students. This is an exciting time to join after our Outstanding Academy Inspection in November 2023. Inspectors described Bristnall Hall Academy as a “truly inclusive and harmonious school” where everyone is proud to be part of a close-knit community working together with a common purpose. Our staff “feel valued” and our classrooms “ooze enthusiasm and productivity.”
The successful candidate will be a dynamic, forward-thinking professional with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of science in the classroom. We seek an ambitious educator who can teach across key stages and contribute to a culture of outstanding success. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to curriculum development and support the progression and enhancement of teaching practices within the academy and beyond.
The Science department is part of a well-led, mutually supportive team with a strong commitment to improving standards. The appointed candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues and be supported by our teaching and learning team, including Lead Practitioners and a strong senior leadership team.
