Join Amazon Customer Service (CS) technology organization as a Software Development Engineer on our platform level horizontal services engineering team.
We develop and maintain search and retrieval capabilities across Global Content Store (GCS) and other diverse set of contents. Our investments optimize content discoverability, implement advanced search algorithms, and ensure accurate query results. We support content indexing, content chunking, taxonomy management, and multilingual search functionalities. We enable seamless access to support content for both customer self-service and associate systems serving billions of monthly requests globally. You'll tackle algorithmically complex challenges, working on front-end and back-end services that seamlessly scale to meet customer needs. Key job responsibilities
- Solve complex problems by applying appropriate technologies and best practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering
- 8+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- 8+ years of experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- 8+ years of experience in professional, non-internship software development
- 8+ years of experience leading the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems
