Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and making a real difference in the classroom? A welcoming primary school in Northwich is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible, working through to April.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support the class teacher with daily classroom activities
* Provide 1:1 or small-group support to pupils
* Help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
* Assist with behaviour management and pastoral support
* Contribute to the delivery of creative and inspiring lessons
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)
* A caring, patient, and proactive approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to follow the teacher’s lead and use initiative where needed
* Ideally a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant), but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
